Pema Khandro is a Tibetan Naturopath, Ayurvedic practitioner and Buddhist teacher in the rare lineage of Buddhist Yogis from Tibet. Pema Khandro’s courses focus on integrating holistic principles into everyday life with an emphasis in nutrition, herbs, meditation, detoxification and yoga. Pema Khandro Rinpoche also is a philanthropist, raising money for Himalayan children through her foundation, Ngakpa House.

In 1999, Pema Khandro Rinpoche founded the Yogic Medicine Institute with Derrick Pawo and is the author, designer and director of YMI’s extensive curriculum including the Health Educator Training, Ayurveda training, Yoga teacher training, Yoga therapy training, Meditation training and Panchakarma training.

In addition to her certification as a Tibetan Amchi Naturopath, Pema Khandro Rinpoche holds certification as an Advanced Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist in three systems, as a QRA Referral Practitioner, as an Ayurvedic Practitioner and is a member of NAMA the National Association of Ayurvedic Medicine.
