Panchakarma Technician Training (PKT)
Panchakarma Technician training prepares Technicians to assist Detoxification Specialists in the administration of traditional detoxification, cleansing and rejuvenation therapies of Ayurveda for longevity, health, beauty and healing.
This program is 140 hours.

Detoxification Specialist Training (DS)
Detoxification Specialist training prepares Pancha Karma Technicians to administer the traditional detoxification, cleansing and rejuvenation therapies of Ayurveda under the guidance of a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner.
This program is 340 Hours.

Panchakarma: Pre and Post Pk
When and how to give Snehan, the internal oelation. Understanding when Panchakarma is indicated and what diet and lifestyle factors can be utilized for Panchakarma preparation. Post Panchakarma protocols and care.

Panchakarma: Abhyanga, Swedan, Udvartina & Bolus
The heart of Panchakarma. Introduction to Abhyanga, Swedan, Udvartina & Pinda Swed (Bolus) Techniques.

Panchakarma: Ayurvedic Massage Techniques
Practical training and experience in Ayurvedic Massage techniques for Panchakarma, for each of the three doshas, for special cases and tandem massage.

Panchakarma: Virechan
Understanding the art and science of purgation, when it is indicated, when it is not. Introduction to Virechan techniques.

Panchakarma: Therapies for the Head & Face
The purpose of facial pk is to drain and move the lymphatic fluid from the face. It also corrects the flow of prana in the head, neck and chest by influencing prana vayu and udana vayu. Facials also cleanse the surfaces layers of the skin removing impurities like dirt, ama and toxins accumulated from using harmful skin and makeup products. This course covers Ayurvedic facials as well as the therapies for the head and face including Nasya, Netra Basti , Kurna Karma and Marma for face, hands and feet.

Panchakarma: Shirodhara
Shirodhara is the pouring of oils and teas in a stream onto the brow center and the area of the forehead. Shiro dhara is used to balance vata problems. It balances mainly vata (prana vayu) but also pitta. It calms the mind and senses. It nourishes majja dhatu (bone marrow) and improves mental clarity and comprehension. You will also learn Heart Dhara, Heart Dhara is an Ayurvedic Treatment that encourages circulation and to relax emotional tensions and release the effects of traumas. It balances mainly vyana vayu removes blockages of tensions and toxins and gives strength to the cardiac muscles, cardio-tonic and has a calming, grounding and stabilising effect on mind and emotions. This course also includes instruction on and indications for Kidney dhara and Spinal dhara.

Panchakarma: Basti Karma
Basti is the administration of herbalized oils and teas into the colon. The colon is the primary seat for the elimination of toxins and excess doshas. Keeping the colon hydrated, clean and strong is absolutely necessary for keeping the rest of the body nourished, limber and resilient to stress and illness. This course covers basti and uttara basti indication, preparation, administration and formulas.

Key Ayurvedic Principles; 5 Elements, 3 Doshas & Constitution
By understanding the five elements, the three doshas, ama, agni, prakriti and vrikriti, we begin to understand the ecology of health and disease. This course covers the Ayurvedic body types and how the play of the elements manifests in biology, in daily and season cycles, in illness and healing. Includes the Anatomy of the three doshas.

Ayurvedic Nutrition & Digestive Health
This course covers the keys to digestive health and how to choose an appropriate diet for each individual based on their constitution, chief complaint and digestive capacity. The course includes SiddhaVeda theory for removing the blocks to good digestion, Doshas, Aam, Diet. Ayurvedic anatomy of the digestion and elimination systems. Ayurvedic Anatomy & Digestive Health
A deeper understanding of digestion and health comes from the study of the seven dhatus, the seven stages of digestion. This course discusses the seven dhatus and how to eliminate blockages in the dhatus so that the deepest nourishment can be found. 10 hours Required course for the following programs: Ds, AC, CAyu, HYT

Ayurvedic Cooking
Food can heal us or hurt us, food can be satisfying or make us want to eat more and more. This course covers the art and science of Ayurvedic cooking including selection of foods, prepation of foods, the six tastes, cleansing diet, rejuvenating diet, cooking for the three doshas, cooking for panchakarma and the Sattvic diet.

Ayurvedic Lifestyle
Ayurveda’s recommended daily program is called Dinacharya. Established thousands of years ago, if offers guidelines which, if followed alongside the recommended Ayurvedic diet, helps us to achieve whole new levels of well-being. It emphasizes whole levels of well-being. It emphasises the importance of a daily routine which corresponds to the calmness and harmony throughout the system. This course includes practices for living in harmony with the five elements throughout the cycles of day and night, and the cycles of the seasons. This course covers often overlooked lifestyle factors that contribute to aam (toxic accumulations) and therefore to illness.

Prana, Tejas and Ojas
Prana, Tejas and Ojas are the intellence, vitality and immunity of our body. Without a proper understanding of their purification and balance, then healing is limited. This course covers subtle body anatomy and physiology, nutritional issues and the understanding of the subtle manifestation of the doshas.

Seven Chakras
Anatomy and Metaphysiology of the Seven Chakras and the Nadi system, their role in health, disease and spiritual awakening. In the SiddhaVeda lineage of Ayurveda, the understanding of the chakra system is important for the practice of Marma.

Ayurvedic Cleansing
The six shat karmas, including sutra neti and vari saur dhauti, intestinal cleansing with salt water to eliminate stagnant material, toxins and excess mucous and bile. Learn the yoga postures for expediting cleansing.

The Science of Prana
The Five Pranas are the subdoshas of Vata. By understanding the five pranas we can understand how to bring the body back into balance through correcting vitiated Vata. This course includes Pranayama for the three doshas, Therapuetic use of pranayama.

The Six Stages of disease, Ayurvedic intevention theory and strategies.

Parasites including amoeba, liver flukes and giardia. Recognizing them in the pulse, signs and symptoms, herbal remedies, dietary and lifestyle considerations.

Ayurvedic Diagnostic Tradition I
Reading face, tongue, eyes and hand to confirm the areas in need of focus for healing.

Reading the Pulse. Ayurveda uses pulse assessment to determine where the blockages are that cause imbalance.
